Saturday, October 12:
At 2 a.m. we got on the bus in Köping to go to Arlanda airport. We put all our bags in the bus, boarded the bus, and then we went to sleep. At 4 a.m. we arrived at Arlanda airport in Stockholm. We took our suitcases and waited for the teachers to check everyone in. There were some problems with the tickets, but eventually, everything worked out fine.
After checking in our luggage we walked around a store and spent about an hour waiting for the airplane. At 5.30 a.m. we started boarding the plane. We arrived at Charles-de-Gaulle airport in Paris at 8.55 a.m. We were supposed to go straight to the hotel, but we had to change trains several times and also take the metro. In the end, we had to walk for half an hour before we arrived at the hotel.
At 1 p.m. we arrived at the hotel, but we couldn’t check in until 3 p.m. but we could leave our luggage in their dining room and then we could go out for lunch. Some of my friends and I went for pizza and after we finished our meal we strolled around a park and then we went back to the hotel.

We unpacked and then got ready to meet the others again at 4 p.m. when we were leaving to take the metro to the Eiffel Tower. When we got there we had two hours to spend there, so we looked around in some shops and then I bought some ice cream. Many of the students had never seen the Eiffel Tower, so they were really excited to see it in real life.

Later we met again at the Eiffel Tower to take the metro to a church that is really high up on a hill, Sacre Cœur, but when we arrived in Montmartre we first had dinner. After dinner, we took the funicular up to Sacre Cœur. We walked around a bit and at 10 p.m. we took the metro back to the hotel. When we arrived it was almost 11 p.m. Imagine how tired we were! We all went straight to bed.
